What is ySense?

ySense is a legit online earning opportunity.  The site has been online since 2007 having millions of members who are earning money by doing tasks and offers and referring other members. The site was rebranded as ySense in August 2019.

They have been a PTC site since 17 Jul 2017. Since then,  PTC ads and ClixGrid have been removed. ySense is using its own script and design.

Everyone can join ySense except from members from the following countries: Afghanistan, Albania, Antarctica, Azerbaijan, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Niger. Also in order to join you should be above 16 years old. 

If your account should go to inactive status (90 days with no logins), ySense will consider the account abandoned and it will be closed. ySense will send email reminders at 7, 30 & 83 days reminding you that if you fail to login your account will be closed. After account closure, all funds in the account will be forfeited and the balance zeroed. 

ySense has never missed a payment all these years and payments are processed through Skrill, Paypal and Amazon gift cards.

 Is ySense safe?

The site has been online since 2007 as ClixSense. They have a large membership count and have paid millions of dollars to their members all these years.

There are no reports of members not getting paid and we have been receiving regular payments from them without any delays.

Also, the site is completely free to join so we can say for sure that ySense is a legit and safe online earning opportunity.

How to earn money from ySense?

• Offers

ySense has offered their members the chance to earn some extra cash by doing some offers. These offers might be free such as watching videos, downloading apps, doing sign ups, doing surveys playing games and others. Also, there are some paid offers where you have to make a purchase and then you get a fraction of that amount back.

Some offers will credit you instantly while with some others it may take 1,2,3 or 4 weeks to get credited. The unpaid amount will be shown in the pending balance at the top right corner of the offers page.

The drawback of that earning method is that not all members from all countries will have the same opportunities. The availability of those offers depends on what countries the advertisers target to advertise their products and services.

• Surveys

ySense has partnered with several survey providers such as Toluna, Samplicio, YourSurveys and others giving members a very good source of income. Especially members from top-tier countries can earn a very good income just by participating at surveys. You can find surveys that pay up to 5$ and generally it takes from 5 to 30 minutes to complete a survey.

You should update your survey profile with real information and every time you have a survey you should take your time and answer honestly to every question. Also, check the survey page regularly and add the ClixAddon extension in order to get notified instantly if there is a survey available.

• Tasks

Doing tasks is another way to earn from ySense and could be a good alternative to those members how have fewer advertisements and surveys available. The tasks are provided by CrowdFlower, a crowdsourcing service that enables you to work on small tasks giving the opportunity to earn some extra cash.

Members at Crowflower are categorized in 4 levels (0 -3) and when you are getting started doing tasks you start from Level 0. There you get few tasks which are also difficult to complete and they pay less than others. At this point, you should be patient and try to do as many tasks as you can in order to get to level 1 and then the next levels.

IMPORTANT TIP:  Take your time and read carefully the instructions for a specific task. When you get a difficult task that you cannot do just give up and go to the next one. Only if you keep your accuracy high you will be able to advance to the next levels and get more tasks to do.

• Daily Checklist bonus

ySense has given its members an extra incentive to be active daily by introducing the daily checklist bonus where you get a bonus for doing certain things each day. In order to collect the bonus you have to:

1. Complete either 10 tasks or 2 offers or combine 5 tasks with 1 offer (surveys are included on offers).
   
2. Visit the forum.

If you do all the above you will get a 12% bonus. If you have installed the ClixAddon extension in your computer and visit ySense from there you get another 2% bonus and if you do all that for 3 straight days you will get an extra 2% activity bonus.

            ClixAddon

ClixAddon is a very useful browser extension that notifies us if is there available a survey or a task. Also allows us to check everytime our account balance. It is available for Chrome, Opera and Firefox and not for Internet Explorer. 

You should definitely install ClixAddon for 2 reasons:

1. ySense has a lot of members who are up for the same tasks and surveys. Getting notified instantly for a new earning opportunity increases the chance of taking advantage of it.
2. Gives you an extra bonus after completing the daily checklist bonus as mentioned before.

• Referral program

The best way to earn money from ySense, and every GPT site in general, is to refer other people to join the program and earn commissions from their work. You earn commissions when your referrals complete offers and tasks as shown in the picture below. 

*** Since 22/02/2018 the affiliate commission structure has changed. If you have a minimum of 100 or more active referrals with at least one transaction in the past 30 days you get an additional 5% affiliate commission making your affiliate commission 25%. If you have 200 or more active referrals you get an additional 10% affiliate commission, making your affiliate commissions a whopping 30%! For those members who do not meet these criteria, your affiliate commissions will remain at 20%.

ySense Cons

Now that we have seen all the ways that you can benefit from ySense, it’s time to see what I do not like about them:

1. The offers and surveys available are both geotargeted meaning that not all members from all countries will have the same earning opportunities.
2. The payment threshold is high compared to other GPT sites (10$ for all members and 5$ on Skrill).

Conclusion
